In my update about my Spring Garden Sessions for children, for children from my very own cottage garden, I briefly mentioned Spring Family Sessions in the Forest.
The forest during spring is a magical time to visit, there are pops of yellow and an abundance purple. I love watching it grow week to week, sometimes the flowers grow so tall the little ones get lost in a sea of colour. The joy that sweeps across their faces as they explore and discover is priceless, you can see their imaginations running wild as they hunt for butterflies and fairies.
All family photography sessions are held on location typically start an hour and a half before sunset. Late afternoons in the forest can still feel a bit chilly, there is still plenty of opportunity to layer up and get some of those snugly family images before the summer weather hits and it gets too hot.
As usual your session with be filled with fun, laughter and those tender in between moments which we all love with our children.
I think Winnie the Pooh sums it up the best…….
“We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.”
This is exactly how you will be feeling by the end.
Looking back at previous years the best time seems to be October and November, I only have 5 available dates over this period and with the recent enquiries for sessions closer to Christmas I have a feeling they may not be available for very much longer. If you quote “Winnie the Pooh” in your email enquiry and book your session by the end of August 2018, your session fee will $99 (usually $200)
Like all sessions, you will receive a complimentary wardrobe consultation (I really love this part of process and make it as EASY as possible).
Here’s a snippet of what you can look forward to with your family in the forest.
